Vad är RS-Link ?
RS-Link är ett komplett interface mellan TTL/CMOS och RS-232 (serieport eller COM-port på en PC).
T.ex där man har en microcontroller koppling, men behöver ett serieinterface för tester eller inställningar av driftsparametrar.
Eller helt enkelt en färdig "komponent" för att få RS232 i en testkoppling på en labbplatta ("solder-less breadboard").
RS-Link kopplas med en standard seriekabel till (t.ex) en PC.
På "andra sidan" kan man använda en enkel kabel med en kontakt med 0.1 tums (2.54 mm) delning. T.ex något överblivet från lådan med "PC-skrot". |

RS-link anpassad för labbplatta.
RS-link kan enkelt byggas om för att enklare användning på en labbplatta. En 4-pinnars stiftlist skickas med så att original kontakten enkelt kan bytas ut. |

Exempel på användning.
Här ses en typisk inkoppling i en labbplatta.
Man ansluter bara 5 och 0 volt samt de två serie signalerna med kopplingstrådar, så är allt klart. Ja, en vanlig serie (RS232-) kabel till PC'n också, så klart... |

Visst, samma funktion kan byggas med lösa komponenter, men det går inte lika snabbt när man bara
vill "testa" något, och med RS-link så vet att MAX232 kretsen alltid är rätt inkopplad.
